On the Train

Three girls and Dad pose in the train compartment.

My family and I went on a train to and from Chengdu. It was a lot of fun! You know the most fun part? It was riding on the train at night!
We got soft sleepers. Soft sleepers are maybe thicker mattresses. There are four beds in a tiny compartment. They look like you have bunk beds. You have a switch for the music controller. That is supposed to help with controlling the loudness of the noise. There is another switch for calling the helper on a train car. The last one is for the light. They had foot holders or metal things for your feet to go on.
There was a little table, a trash can, and a water heater. The water heater was for food or drinks that need hot water on them. It was soooo much fun!

In the car were two different bathrooms. One was a sit-down toilet and the other was a squatty potty. They had a small compartment with three sinks in it for washing hands. Thankfully, they had soap in that spot. There was also a part between the cars for people to be able to smoke. It drifts though, if the doors are open.

More to come soon.
