Day Seven/Rest Day Number 1

Today, was a great day! I took my dog outside. I ate apple and cinnamon oatmeal. It could have been the other way on the label. It could have been cinnamon and apple. Anyway, something like that. I thought it was tasty!

I visited with Meredith. She and I went downstairs and explored  part of the conference room. There's a broken braillewriter, several computers that I'm not sure really work, a table with chairs, and maps. Most of that, we knew or I knew was in there. I got us each a drink from the drink machine. I think I got iced tea for me and Pepsi for Meredith.

Pierre came today. He gave each girl a rope for a toy. The dog and each of us could play tug a war or fetch. I played with my dog and she seemed to enjoy it so much! She's strong, though. I'd say she's pretty good at tug of war.

I also spent my day playing on Garage Band and chatting with people. We had chicken burgers and fries. I, of course had kiwi for dessert. Yum!

Next, I tried to help Meredith talk to her family. It took several tries and checking to get the connection. I finally got them. By this time, Meredith couldn't hear when I called her grandpa. I had call them a few times. We finally figured out a way that worked with earphones. Wow!

I tried taking a nap but that did not work. Someone knocked on my door. I gave up trying. I took my dog outside to do business but did not get anything out of it.

I listened to music. It was more like the radio. I chatted a  few minutes with my Grandpa, too! I'm thankful for this break! I enjoyed it.

Oh, yes! I ate spaghetti and garlic bread for supper! Delicious! That's all for  today.
