it right.
Today was quite interesting!
In the morning, we switched dogs and tried to control those dogs. We had to practice with distractions, crossing the four corners, and going around the kennel. The dog I'd gotten was a fluffy dog! He was so cute! I'd guess he was a St. Pierre or a Bernese! I loved touching his soft and fluffy fur!
We then ate lunch. We first ate salads with tomatoes, lettuce, cucumber, and celery in it. For the main course, we ate pork with sauce on top, zucchini, and mushrooms, I think. Next, I was very tired and decided to take a short nap. I accidentally over slept, but I wasn't the only one who had that mistake.
Ian told us we were planning to go to town. Today wasn't very sunny. It was windy and cloudy. The trainers weren't sure about going to town. They decided on it, though. Next thing you know, it started raining! So, we had a change of plans.
We split into two groups. First Lexi, Kayla, and I went to the kennel with Ian and Pierre while Meredith and Kate stayed with Helene inside. She showed each student the map of our route and explained the four corners.
While we were in the kennel, each girl got a chance to let her dog loose. It was a chance for them to play. Mine and Kayla's dogs stayed around us. My dog kept following me. At one point or another, Ian helped me hide. The first time, my dog was there with us. The second time, she didn't know where I was, I'm just guessing, though. I had to call her this time. The name of the game is recall. It shows each kid how to get the dog to play and come back to us. While one person has their dog off harness and leash, the others have to control their dogs.
The second exercise was with Helene. The first time going to the kennel, each girl had been wearing raincoats. We practically didn't need them going back to the house. Each of us got a turn to see the four corners or rather a four way intersection. Helene spoke to us about a four way intersection, two way intersection, and traffic lights. We got to see a map of our route, and it was so much easier to read on the board she used compared to the map that was already here. I actually got to make sure I understood it right.
My friends were doing the same thing. After examining and going through the map and four corners, Lexi and I visited for a while. It was awesome! The most fun part of the day was pretending the little toy cars were on the roads. Lexi and I had a small game with the cars. I enjoyed my day, very much!
