Monday, July 15th

Monday was interesting!

First of all, each girl placed the four corners but didn't do all four. We'd do three and then when each of us came back, we'd do it the other way around.

We sat at the North bench of the kennel. Four girls went over the route in words for Ms. Helene. It was to help picture it in our minds, properly.

We came back to do the corners the opposite direction and went to the poop square. Helene called us back when she was ready. She got a dog to practice having distractions.

We sat around. I had nice visit with Lexi. We got to try recall outside. Of course, my dog stayed right there close. They did have a leash or it could've been mine. I'm not sure, though.

We ate ham with rice and broccoli for lunch.
Ahbee and dog, with trainer Ian, at the top of an escalator, about to get on.
We drove to town. We arrived at the mall. It was awesome! We didn't get to shop but did stay inside instead of being hot outside. We practiced going through narrow doorways or tight spaces. We practiced not allowing the dogs to smell the food and how to work the the dog on an escalator. I loved learning about the escalator situation for my dog. That was the fun part, for me anyway! I do have to be very careful to not let the dog's nails caught. We also just walked around obstacles and had fun being in the mall! Thank goodness! I am so happy to have gone indoors.

I ate a hamburger and salad for dinner. It was hot! The mall was my favorite part of yesterday's class!
