Today was probably the most exciting day!
Each girl got a chance to pet a puppy in the morning. Jennifer, the babysitter, from last night, brought two puppies from the halls they lived in. They were going to be partnered up with a family, sometime today. She brought us a boy and a girl to pet! They were so cute!
They were big puppies, though. They were nine weeks old but weighed around 17 or 18 pounds each. The girl one was softer than the boy and seemed traumatized since she'd never been out of her pen. The boy hadn't either. The only thing was that he became curious and roamed around us. He kept trying to nibble at us. I remember him trying to nibble at hair. It was great to have the chance to pet one of these little puppies from Mira! I loved it!
We walked the same route as yesterday. Today, we ate shepherd's pie, for lunch. I decided to eat cherries for dessert. Yum! They were fresh, too. That makes them even better.
Next, the trainers and all the kids had a discussion about our strengths and weaknesses in mobility skills. Later, we took photographs with our dogs! We took individual pictures of each girl with her dog. After that, the whole group of girls and three trainers had pictures taken of us together! It was great! We were informed of our jobs for tomorrow morning. That might be interesting to see. Anyway, we're just hanging out, now.
