Today was quite different from the past week.
We practiced distractions. There was a dog running around! They had a squeaky toy! They did these on purpose. I haven't told you, they've been doing that with our dogs. I remember them holding out or putting a cheese sandwich in front of them. They've let a dog loose, in the past.
So, anyway, we got into the van and truck or something other than the van. We had to take two vehicles. Our group wouldn't have been able to fit in one car.
Next, we went to St. Hyacinthe. We walked a little ways until we got to a cafe. We sat outside and waited. Two girls went with a trainer for each of them. Most of the time, one of the trainers commanded our dogs what to do. It was quite a relief! I did have to say a few commands, though. I also shook the harness when the trainer said, "Pay attention," (in French).

| Here we are, our first day in town. |
We drove back to the campus, very smoothly. We took our dogs to the poop square. I gave my dog some water or rather let her drink some that was in her bowl. I had to refill her bowl since she was so thirsty and hot!
For lunch, first of all, I ate vegetable and noodle soup, for the appetizer. Secondly, I ate chicken on a stick, with three of them on sticks. There were mashed potatoes and broccoli, too. Yummy!
Next, we went back to St. Hyacinthe. This time, we took the same route, but instead we went further. I had to sit around for a long time this afternoon. I was the last person to go on the route. Finally, we made it back to the campus! Wow! I was so sweaty! My dog had finally gone pee in the street of the little town.
I was so glad we were done, after such a hot and sweaty day! I stayed in my room for just a little bit. I also remember getting myself a glass of water and then refilling it. I ate meat with noodles, mushrooms, and bell pepper. I ate two little miniature ice cream sandwiches. I also ate a kiwi for dessert! Yum! It was quite lovely!
I brushed my dog, once again. I had done it on Saturday. That's just about it for today.
