Sunday, July 14th

On Sunday, all of us just hung out.
In the morning, I played the piano, laughed with Meredith in our copying game, and used my phone. Sandy came and entertained us. First, we strung beads on a rubber band like string. Each girl received two big plastic beads, one metal dog shaped charm, and several little plastic beads. We didn't have enough beads to string the whole necklace, though. Ms. Silvie turned on music, as well.

We ate spaghetti for lunch with garlic bread! Delicious!

Next, at least four girls put their hands in plaster and it imprinted hand prints. The plaster hand prints were as if we were in the Hall of Fame!

I went and decided to take a nap. The nap helped me feel more energetic. I'm glad I took one. Kate came and knocked on my door. That's when I got up. She asked me, "Ahbee, will you help me with the route?" I answered back, "Yes, no problem." I informed her that I had been sleeping. She replied, "Oh, sorry, I didn't mean to wake you up." I answered, "That's fine. No problem." I helped her and Lexi look at the route.

Afterward, Ms. Sandy, Meredith, Lexi, and Kate created a sound movie. We used homemade sounds. It was hilarious! The sounds we used were a helicopter, thunder, rain, fire, fish, and marshens. Kate became the narrator. Oh, yes, we also had drums and cymbals. The drums and cymbals was a pot and a spoon. The helicopter was a trash bag with air inside. The fish was water being blown through a straw in a cup. The rain was with Saran wrap by rubbing it together. The thunder was Kate's rock and fire was a paper bag with something else as chicken. There was a description that involved, "the world was burned like chicken," or something like that. We got a chance to listen to it after we acted it out. I remember we were laughing at the "mutated fish". It was awesome!

I showed Meredith the map, right after acting the sound story. By this time, Lexi and Kate got their nails painted. The three others didn't want to. Later, in the evening, Meredith and I chose to watch Tangled. Ms. Sylvie did, too.

Yesterday was so much fun! I am so  happy that Sandy came! it was great!
Five girls sit on a bench at a mall. Each girl has a black dog at her feet.
At the mall.
Editor's note: We will have to wait for the next post to hear about the mall visit.
