Tuesday, July 2

Tuesday, the 2nd, in the morning after breakfast, each of the kids got to get to the rooms that each of us are staying in. During the morning exercises, we pretended the trainers were guide dogs and each kid had to command the human dog what to do.

I forget what we had for lunch.

Afterward, we went back to the kennel using the human dogs starting from the living room. We worked on commands again. We also had to correct their mistakes. I think they did them on purpose so that we would get used to the idea that the dog might make mistakes.

For the last part of the afternoon, which was the exciting part, we each tried a dog. I tried  one, Kayla tried three, and maybe others tried two. I'm not quite sure of the other girls, about how many dogs they tried on Tuesday.
Four girls with canes stand in a line on a sidewalk.
Here are four of us on the sidewalk between the dorm building and the kennel.

If I remember properly, we had tortellini for dinner.

We'd been instructed to play dog seriously, that night. The night before, my friend Kate, she was being a bad, crazy dog! She didn't want to behave. My goodness! So, we did this exercise a lot more seriously, than the day before. That's all for now.
