Pi~nata Time!

I forgot to say that we hit a pinata.

This was on Thursday. First, we hit the pinata with spatulas. My friend Kate, she hit it with a spatula with a rubber end to it. She warned us by saying, "I can get pretty aggressive."

We each got the first turn. The second time, Meredith and I used a big stick. It looked like a tree branch.

When I hit it the second time, I ended up breaking the string on the pinata. I got a chance to kick it since I'd broke the string off it. Kate kicked it once and then the second time, she broke the pinata and Kayla didn't have another turn.
She said very politely, "That's okay." Kate had to apologize for it.

We picked up the candy and gum from within the broken pieces of pinata. We took the pieces and bags of treats inside and Ms. Jennifer sorted the loot. yum!
